Position: Registered Nurse - Post Surgical Unit (Nights)
Location: Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights, IL
Hours: 7:00pm - 7:30am, every other weekend
Responsibilities Include
- Assessing patients and collecting health data involving patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Coordinating patient care plans to ensure safe, timely, and appropriate interventions
- Communicating effectively in person, on the phone, and in writing
- Providing individualized patient and family education based on assessments
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice
- Maintaining current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations
Qualifications And Skills
- Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program
- Current nursing license in Illinois
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association
