This Float Pool Registered Nurse role involves providing direct and indirect patient care across multiple departments, ensuring optimal outcomes through assessments, consultations, and timely interventions.
Key responsibilities include performing comprehensive head-to-toe assessments for diverse patient populations, utilizing triage processes for appropriate care prioritization, and managing pain effectively while educating patients and families.
Ideal candidates must hold a current NV nursing license , with ACLS & BLS certification .
Experience in critical care or emergency departments for at least two years is required, along with obtaining PALS certification within six months.
Additional skills include strong communication, quick response to clinical changes, teamwork, and adaptability to float across units .
