About the role
Role: Per Diem Registered Nurse Med/Surg providing safe, effective, and compassionate patient care on medical/surgical units.
Responsibilities: Independently deliver nursing care, utilize the nursing process for planning and evaluation, supervise unlicensed personnel, collaborate with healthcare team, and promote safety and quality patient experiences.
Qualifications & Skills: Current IL RN license, graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred), BLS and NIHSS certifications, minimum two years recent acute care med/surg experience with telemetry competence, demonstrated within 14 days of hire.
Key Duties: Provide patient care during evening shifts, coordinate interdisciplinary care, and contribute to positive health outcomes.
