Registered Nurse - Per Diem

Role: Registered Nurse (Per Diem, LOH Main - Naperville)

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Perform duties including patient assessments, documentation, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Facilitate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges through coordination with the Resource and Referral Department.
• Engage with patients and families to gather data, develop treatment plans, and support discharge planning.
• Contribute to departmental goals, participate in professional development, and supervise direct patient care as needed.
• Serve as a resource for staff and students, promoting best practices and organizational policies.

Qualifications & Skills

• Current Illinois RN license and CPR certification.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Preferred: One-year psychiatric experience, knowledge of abnormal psychology, and understanding of therapeutic systems.
• Within 90 days of hire: CPI certification.
