About the role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Post Anesthesia Care (PACU) to provide quality patient care during diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures. Key Responsibilities Include
- Assessing patients continuously, documenting in charts, and developing personalized education plans that adapt as patient conditions change.
- Performing age-specific patient interventions proficiently, following medication and IV therapy policies, and monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Interpreting diagnostic data, taking appropriate action, and communicating critical lab results to physicians per protocol.
- Collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications And Skills
- Associates degree in Nursing is required.
- No prior experience necessary.
- Valid multi-state RN license or eligibility to obtain one.
- American Heart Association BLS CPR certification within 7 days of hire; ACLS and PALS certifications required within orientation.
Additional Details
- Full-time staff role (72 hours/week, 0.9 FTE).
