About the Role

As a Registered Nurse Outpatients you will play a vital role in providing support, delivering care and education to patients across the Tairawhiti region. This role provides the opportunity to work closely with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to assess, manage and support people covering a variety of conditions. You will work closely with both local and visiting Specialists attending the Outpatient Department.

About you

  • Registered Nurse with 3 years experience preferable, however we welcome New graduate applications
  • Post graduate qualifications preferred
  • Plastering skills desired
  • Strong level of computer literacy and a desire to widen your range of technical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with an ability to be flexible and adaptable to the changes that occur throughout the day
  • Capable of working in a fast paced, high-volume clinical setting
  • The desire for a commitment to continuous professional development
  • A good team player, happy to jump in and support others when required
  • Good time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • A Current Annual Practising Certificate (APC)
  • Current Eligibility to work in New Zealand
  • Local community knowledge would be of benefit
