About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced NT4 Ortho-Urology Surgical Unit.

Responsibilities include: performing patient assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, managing wound care and surgical devices, educating patients on self-care, and ensuring patient safety. The role involves working with orthopedic and urology surgical patients, utilizing skills such as wound vac management, traction setup, and use of various medical equipment.

Qualifications: Current RN license, BLS certification, high school diploma or GED, and relevant nursing experience. The position requires strong communication, teamwork, and clinical skills, with experience in orthopedic or surgical patient care preferred.

Key duties: documentation, safety reporting, professional development, and collaboration with physicians and therapists. The unit emphasizes a team-oriented culture focused on safe, efficient patient recovery with resources including educators, supervisor support, and specialized equipment.
