About the role
Position: Registered Nurse - Orthopedic Unit
Location: Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights, IL
Type: Full Time, 36 hours/week
Hours: 7:00am - 7:30pm, every other weekend
Responsibilities Include
- Assessing patients and gathering health data involving patients, families, and healthcare providers
- Coordinating patient care plans to ensure safe, timely, and appropriate interventions
- Communicating effectively in person, via phone, and in writing
- Providing individualized patient and family education based on assessments
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and evaluating nursing practices
- Maintaining current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations
Qualifications And Skills
- Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing school
- Current Illinois nursing license
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association
