About the role
Seeking a registered nurse to provide patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring patient rights, confidentiality, and quality standards. Responsibilities Include
- Coordinating patient care with interdisciplinary teams
- Performing assessments, administering treatments, and monitoring patient progress
- Maintaining professional accountability and evaluating care effectiveness
- Managing duties such as IV insertions, wound care, and telemetry monitoring
Qualifications
- Graduate or upcoming graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current RN licensure in the appropriate state or compact license
- Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, stand, walk, and perform various movements
Key Duties Involve
- Providing care on a fast-paced surgical telemetry unit with a 1-6 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Gaining skills in assessments, telemetry, NG tubes, IVs, chest tubes, wound, and drain care
