About the role
Role Overview: This is an ongoing opportunity for Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide patient care across multiple hospital locations, with responsibilities including developing and evaluating care plans, conducting patient assessments, and communicating with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. RNs will deliver individualized education, support professional development, assist technical staff, participate in quality improvement and research activities, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and revise patient care plans to achieve expected outcomes.
- Assess patient health data and communicate plans effectively.
- Provide tailored education based on patient needs, cultural background, and barriers.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members and support professional growth.
- Offer psychological support and assist with technical procedures such as injections and IV management.
- Participate in performance improvement, research, and wound/ostomy/skin care monitoring.
- Transport acutely ill patients as needed and adhere to safety and privacy regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
- Active Illinois RN license and BLS certification.
- Previous OR experience preferred.
