About the role
Position: Registered Nurse - Observation Unit
Location: Elmhurst Main Hospital
Hours: 36 hours per week, 7am-7pm, with every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays
Responsibilities: Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care by planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal outcomes and continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; Baccalaureate preferred
- Current Illinois RN licensure
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association
- Knowledge of EKG interpretation and NIHSS Stroke Scale certification (required)
Preferred Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, surgical care experience, ACLS certification, and inpatient nursing experience are highly valued.
