Seeking registered nurses to provide patient care using the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability, evaluating care effectiveness, and coordinating with other departments. Responsibilities include maintaining patient rights and confidentiality, performing duties aligned with organizational values, and delivering high-quality care to diverse patient populations, primarily in step-down and cardiac units. Key Details
- Manage patient loads with nurse-to-patient ratios of 6:1 (med-surg) and 4:1 (step-down)
- Care for patients with conditions like CHF, COPD, CKD, post-procedural care, and cardiac drips
- Handle medical equipment such as chest tubes, bipap, airvo, and post pacemakers
Qualifications Include
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN)
- Valid RN license in the state or compact license
- Current AHA Healthcare Provider certification; ACLS and BLS required within 90 days of hire
