Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our MedSurg / Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This individual must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, collaborating with healthcare team to provide comprehensive care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Document patient care accurately and timely
- Educate patients and their families on disease management and preventative care
- Assist with various procedures and interventions as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe patient care environment
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a MedSurg / Telemetry setting
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Detail-oriented and able to work effectively in a team setting
