Role Overview: Provides clinical leadership in an acute inpatient setting, ensuring patient/family-centered care through evidence-based nursing practices.
Responsibilities: Conducts patient assessments, develops and updates individualized care plans, and collaborates with the healthcare team to set achievable goals.
Delegates tasks appropriately, monitors care quality, and ensures safety protocols are followed.
Utilizes performance indicators to evaluate care effectiveness and participates in quality improvement initiatives.
Educates patients and families, promotes discharge planning, and advocates for patient needs.
Maintains documentation, adheres to regulatory standards, and reflects on personal practice for continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred)
- One year RN experience or equivalent through residency programs or LPN experience
- Current RN license recognized in the practice state
- Knowledge of safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
