Registered Nurse / Medical-Surgical Telemetry (MS/Tele)
Schedule
- Rotating Day/Night Shifts
- Days: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Facility will make every effort to honor preferred shift; however, travelers may be rotated to meet operational needs.
- Traveler must work at least every other holiday.
Position Overview
The Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN provides comprehensive nursing care to adult patients requiring acute medical care and cardiac monitoring. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams in a high-acuity academic medical center environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 18 months of combined permanent RN experience in the specialty applying for (may be combined from multiple facilities).
- Minimum 18 months of recent Medical-Surgical Telemetry experience required (travel experience accepted).
- Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License required at submission.
- Current certifications:
- BLS (AHA or client-approved equivalent)
- ACLS
- NIHSS
