Role and Responsibilities:
The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care across the patient lifecycle, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
He/she ensures adherence to organizational policies and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The nurse maintains practice standards, coordinates patient care activities of assigned staff, and delivers quality nursing services.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing school required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Work Experience: No experience required; new graduates eligible. Hospital experience and 1 year in a hospital setting preferred.
- Licenses and Certifications: Valid Georgia RN license or multistate license required, along with BCLS certification. Advanced specialty certifications are a plus.
