Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse – Med Surg/Tele for an exciting Contract opportunity in Neptune, NJ.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.
- Assess, plan, implement, and document individualized nursing care plans.
- Identify patient needs and establish priorities through ongoing assessment and evaluation.
- Coordinate and manage care for assigned patients.
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and monitor patient outcomes.
- Document patient care in accordance with hospital policies and professional nursing standards.
- Advocate for evidence-based nursing practice and quality patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Provide patient-centered care consistent with professional nursing practice standards.
- Float to other units as required based on staffing needs and competency.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required.
- Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License or Multi-State Compact RN License required.
- BLS (American Heart Association) Certification required.
- ACLS Certification required.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification required.
- Telemetry Certification required.
- CEU Contact Stroke Certification (4 Hours) required.
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit within a major acute care hospital required.
- Strong Medical-Surgical and Telemetry background.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
