About the role
Role Overview: The registered nurse (RN) is responsible for coordinating comprehensive nursing care, including direct patient care, patient and family education, and care transitions. They support professional nursing practice across various settings and the continuum of care, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, evaluate, and communicate all phases of nursing care for assigned patients.
- Provide leadership through preceptorship, informal leadership, and quality improvement activities.
- Delegate patient care based on skill level, patient acuity, and resource availability.
- Maintain excellent communication, mentoring, and teaching skills.
- Participate in committees or projects as needed.
- Possibly drive personal vehicle for work-related duties.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of a nursing program; baccalaureate degree preferred for recent graduates.
- One year of RN or LPN experience preferred.
- Current RN license and Basic Life Support certification.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with electronic medical records and teamwork environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to unpredictable situations.
- Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking, and effective communication skills.
Additional Information: The role is eligible for TN sponsorship, requiring state licensure and certification. Compensation ranges from $43.84 to $66.84 per hour. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, and tuition reimbursement. The position offers full-time hours with a 12-hour day/night schedule, including every third weekend/holiday.
