Registered Nurse - Med Surg - Full Time

Role Responsible for providing professional, technical nursing care to patients within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Supervise and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure age-appropriate care aligned with standards.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and team members to promote understanding and a therapeutic environment.
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation and medication administration.
• Promote a safe environment, adhere to hospital policies, and support professional growth.
• Assume responsibility for performance and contribute to continuous improvement of patient experience.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Valid RN license in the state.
• Current Basic Life Support certification; additional certifications as required.
• Minimum of 12 months RN experience or completion of Nurse Residency.
• Knowledge of hospital policies, care standards, and confidentiality.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a high-demand, technical environment with physical demands including standing, moving, and handling materials.
