Role Overview The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care across all age groups, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. They operate within organizational policies and demonstrate professional growth and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver quality nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle.
- Coordinate patient care activities of assigned staff to ensure standards of practice are maintained.
- Adhere to organizational policies and procedures.
- Assess patient needs, develop care plans, and evaluate outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school; Bachelors Degree preferred.
- No prior experience required; new graduates eligible.
- Experience in a hospital setting preferred, including PRN positions.
- Current Georgia RN license and/or NLC/eNCL multistate license required.
- BCLS certification required.
- Advanced certifications in specialty fields are a plus.
