About the role
This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients by assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatments. Key Responsibilities Include
- Supporting patient and family needs through assessment and collaboration.
- Working with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans, especially regarding vascular access.
- Performing intravenous insertions, assessments, and managing equipment such as ultrasound devices and infusion pumps.
- Interpreting policies, laboratory results, and monitoring patient conditions to ensure safety.
- Utilizing Electronic Health Records for treatment planning and documentation.
- Applying evidence-based practices tailored to patient age and clinical needs.
- Maintaining safety and performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent.
- Current state-specific RN license and Basic Life Support certification.
- Additional certifications in oncology, anticoagulation, infusion therapy, or vascular access are preferred.
- Strong communication skills, physical stamina, and the ability to work safely in a clinical environment.
