About the role
Join a dedicated team as a Registered Nurse in a 42-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU), providing critical care to patients requiring advanced monitoring and life-support interventions.
- Provide direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards.
- Promote patient and family-centered care by educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
- Participate in activities enhancing patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and engage in ongoing professional development.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans with clear goals, ensuring effective communication across the care team and with patients and families.
- Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations.
- Work in a safety-sensitive environment, demonstrating constant alertness and safety awareness.
Qualifications
- RN license required; BSN and CCRN preferred.
- Prior ICU experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Educational requirements include a Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree; Bachelor's degree is a plus.
