Role: Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in ICU or Telemetry, providing per diem hospital care in Halifax, VA.
Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality, safe care in an acute-care setting by assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions; administering medications and treatments; monitoring cardiac rhythms; collaborating with healthcare teams; maintaining accurate records; educating patients and families; and adhering to safety and infection-control standards.
Qualifications: Active Virginia RN license; at least one year of recent ICU or Telemetry experience within the past two years; BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association; recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test; COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption. Additional credentials may be required based on assignment.
Skills: Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, equipment monitoring, teamwork, adaptability, and professionalism.
