Position: Registered Nurse General Med Surg
Role Overview: Provide high-quality, patient-centered care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions. Collaborate with medical teams to deliver personalized, compassionate care, advocate for patients, and ensure positive clinical outcomes. Utilize nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage" to support patient well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions upon admission and during shifts, reporting any changes promptly.
- Administer medications, monitor responses, and document care accurately.
- Respond to patient requests, anticipate needs, and resolve issues efficiently.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatments, and follow-up care.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred.
- Active RN license with current licensure and BLS certification.
- Experience in hospital nursing preferred; national certification is a plus.
