Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in General Surgery, responsible for utilizing the nursing process to deliver patient care, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality, and coordinating care with other departments.
Responsibilities: Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by team members, maintain professional accountability, and perform duties consistent with organizational standards and values.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current RN license and ability to meet state licensing requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
- Minimum of 2 years of patient care experience
Preferred Skills: Supervisory experience and a bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, kneeling, and twisting.
Key Duties: Provide compassionate patient care, evaluate treatment effectiveness, and collaborate across departments in a fast-paced surgical setting.
