This per diem Emergency Department Registered Nurse role involves providing clinical and managerial duties in a dynamic hospital setting.
Responsibilities include
- delivering direct patient care across all age groups
- performing comprehensive head-to-toe assessments
- managing pain through appropriate techniques and patient education
- utilizing triage protocols to prioritize care and assign categories
- collaborating with physicians, staff, and management to communicate patient status and respond swiftly to changes
The position requires
- at least 2 years of ED experience
- a current RN license in the practice state
- current BCLS certification
- ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of hire, with ENPC and TNCC optional
