About the role
This position is for an Emergency Department Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of ED experience, responsible for providing both clinical and managerial duties in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Delivering direct patient care and evaluating outcomes
- Performing comprehensive head-to-toe assessments across all age groups
- Managing pain effectively and educating patients and families
- Utilizing triage processes for timely patient care
- Collaborating with physicians, management, and staff to communicate patient conditions and coordinate care
- Adjusting nursing interventions based on patient responses
Qualifications And Skills
- Current RN license in the practice state
- BCLS certification, with ACLS and PALS certifications required within six months of hire
- Optional certifications include ENPC and TNCC
- Ability to respond swiftly to changing patient conditions and perform accurate assessments
- Strong communication, teamwork, and ethical standards
