Position Overview: Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating care effectiveness. Coordinates patient care with other departments, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and adheres to organizational standards.
Responsibilities Include
- Delivering direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
- Collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintaining compliance with care standards, policies, and regulations.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN).
- Current RN licensure in the state or within a recognized compact licensure agreement.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform various physical movements required for patient care.
