About the role
Role:
As a Registered Nurse in the Cardiology Stepdown unit, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care by assessing patient conditions, performing procedures, administering medications, and documenting care. You will collaborate with medical providers and the care team to ensure personalized, compassionate treatment, advocate for patients and families, and educate them about medical conditions and treatments.
Responsibilities:
Monitor patient status, respond promptly to needs, perform ordered procedures, ensure accurate documentation, and provide education to patients and caregivers.
Qualifications:
RN license, Bachelor's degree, at least 1 year of RN experience, and certifications in Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment.
Skills:
Strong assessment, communication, and clinical skills, ability to respond swiftly to changes, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
