Registered Nurse - Acute Care

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care by collaborating with the patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs. They serve as a key communication link between patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring patient-centered care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, examine, and evaluate patient conditions, assisting with care planning and executing interventions to promote outcomes.
• Deliver safe, effective care according to policies, maintaining thorough documentation of assessments, care, and incidents.
• Advocate for patients by listening to concerns, providing education, and communicating vital information to families and staff.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives, contribute ideas, and support organizational goals for quality and satisfaction.
• Maintain professional competence through ongoing training, certifications, and involvement in professional organizations.
• Foster growth of colleagues via mentorship and preceptorship, promoting a positive work environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associates or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current RN licensure (single state or multi-state compact).
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) or equivalent required upon hire.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
