About the role
Role Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment plans in a med-surg to step-down acuity adaptable unit.
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough assessments of patients' physical, social, and psychological status.
- Develop and modify individualized care plans collaboratively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Coordinate and delegate care to interdisciplinary teams, ensuring adherence to guidelines and professional standards.
- Evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as needed.
- Promote professionalism by adhering to legal, ethical, and regulatory standards, and ensuring accurate documentation.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Current RN license; BSN required within four years if less than 12 months of experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong patient care, communication, critical thinking, and team collaboration skills.
