Contract Type: Contract to Hire (800 hours - around 5 months) & Hiring a Temp Lead RN
Dress Code: Solid colored scrubs
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary RN for incoming OB/GYN patient triage calls.
- Assess patient symptoms over the phone and determine the appropriate level of care based on established clinical protocols.
- Provide nursing guidance, education, and recommendations to patients regarding pregnancy- and gynecology-related concerns.
- Conduct new obstetric (OB) intake screenings by gathering patient history and identifying any risk factors requiring provider review.
- Contact patients with laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic test results while providing education and answering questions as directed by the provider.
- Accurately document all patient interactions, assessments, and care recommendations in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Escalate urgent or high-risk patient concerns to providers promptly.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff to ensure timely patient care and follow-up.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA and organizational policies.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 3 years of OB/GYN nursing experience .
- Strong understanding of obstetric and gynecologic conditions and clinical workflows.
- Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple patient needs in a fast-paced environment.
