McLeod Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Dietitian to join our Clinical Nutrition team. What You'll Do
As a Registered Dietitian, you will provide comprehensive nutrition care for patients across the lifespan in an inpatient setting. Responsibilities include:
✅ Conducting nutrition assessments and developing individualized nutrition care plans
✅ Providing medical nutrition therapy and nutrition education to patients and families
✅ Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
✅ Participating in multidisciplinary rounds and quality improvement initiatives
✅ Supporting outpatient nutrition services and community wellness events as needed
✅ Serving as a preceptor for dietetic interns
✅ Upholding McLeod Health's Service Excellence Standards
✅ Participating in weekend and holiday rotation schedules
Schedule
- Full-Time
- 80 Hours Biweekly
Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- South Carolina Dietetics Licensure required
- No experience required, new graduates are encouraged to apply
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required for dietitians registered before January 1, 2024
- Master's degree in Nutrition or related field required for dietitians registered after January 1, 2024, along with completion of an ACEND-accredited dietetic internship
