Essential Functions
- Research analysis - Create CD-ROM based analysis system
- Understand principles of operation teaching Cytotechnologists
- Organize research analysis and maintain records ensuring correct review and analysis and record retention required for grant and company support
- Perform statistical analysis and correlation data studies, analyze statistics and prepare data for publication
- Maintain computer hardware and software needed to develop project keeping systems functional
Qualifications
- New York State Department of Education Cytotechnologist license required
- Training in cytotechnology approved by American Society of Clinical Pathology required
- BA or BS degree in medical technology or life sciences required; Master degree preferred
- Proficiency in CD-ROM based analysis systems
- Knowledge of computer skills
This position is located in Cytopathology lab at the Moses campus. The hours are 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM with alternate weekends.
