About the role
The Regional Vice President of Human Resources delivers strategic and operational HR leadership across regional properties. Reporting as a key member of the executive team, this role aligns HR strategy with business goals to drive growth, ensure legal compliance, and enhance both the employee and guest experience. The VP oversees talent acquisition, labor relations, total rewards, training, budget management, and compliance across all federal, state, and local employment laws.
Compensation: $125,000 - $150,000+, 20% bonus + Auto & Cell Phone Allowance + Great Benefits

Responsiablities:
- Align regional human resources initiatives with overarching business goals to enhance operational performance, team engagement, and the overall guest experience.
- Direct and mentor 2 HR Leaders each responsible for managing a local property and HR team.
- Provide expert coaching, counseling, and conflict resolution to foster a supportive, service-oriented workplace culture.
- Oversee complete adherence to all federal, state, and local labor laws, including EEO, OSHA, ADA, and Wage & Hour regulations.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment, interviewing, and candidate selection for exempt and non-exempt roles using strong assessment methods.
- Direct property-wide training programs, employee orientation, and succession planning to develop managers for future advancement.
- Oversee wage and salary structures, performance evaluation programs, and employee benefits administration.
- Maintain accurate personnel records, manage departmental budgets, and leverage HRIS tools (specifically Paycom) to streamline workflows.
- Handle labor relations, represent the organization in employment hearings, and manage workers' compensation and safety incentive programs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business, or a related field is required
- SHRM (SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) or HRCI (PHR/SPHR) certification highly preferred.
- Up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local labor regulations, including experience representing the organization in employment and safety hearings (EEO, OSHA, ADA, Wage & Hour).
- Proven ability to direct, supervise, and mentor HR staff, manage departmental budgets, and oversee administrative operations and record-keeping.
- Demonstrated experience in full-cycle recruitment, conducting training programs, executing performance evaluations, and fostering positive employee relations through coaching and discipline.
- Background in overseeing wage, salary, and benefits structures, as well as developing, communicating, and enforcing standardized HR policies across properties.
