About This Role
Regional Sales Managers manage and grow the independent retail channel across Victoria, including regional areas. This role involves building strong relationships with stockists, improving in-store presentation, and identifying new opportunities to expand the brand's presence. It suits someone who enjoys being in the market, takes pride in brand presentation, and wants to significantly impact the channel.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow the independent retail channel across Victoria, including regional areas
- Build strong relationships with stockists
- Lift in-store presentation and visual standards
- Identify the right new doors to grow the brand's presence
- Spend about three days a week on the road with regular regional travel
Requirements
- Field sales experience managing independent retail accounts, ideally in gift, toy, homewares, lifestyle, fashion or premium consumer goods
- Strong knowledge of the Victorian independent retail landscape, including the best gift and boutique stores in metro and regional towns
- An eye for in-store presentation and an understanding of premium or luxury brand positioning
- A track record of growing accounts and opening quality new doors
- A natural relationship builder with energy, flair and real passion for the brand
- Happy to be on the road three days a week, with a current driver’s licence
- Organised and self-motivated, with solid basic PC skills
