About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Regional Sales Director to join the team of a leader in the Retail & Consumer Goods space.
This role will lead multi-unit retail sales performance across a defined region, with a strong focus on driving profitability, operational execution, and team development. The ideal candidate will partner closely with store leaders and management teams to ensure sales goals are met while maintaining consistency in process, policy, and customer experience. This position also requires strong community presence and the ability to influence results through coaching, field leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $120,000 – $130,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead store teams to exceed sales and profitability goals
- Drive sales while adhering to company policies and procedures
- Conduct weekly store visits to engage with management and associates
- Ensure management teams understand and communicate company objectives
- Mentor and motivate direct and indirect reports to foster talent growth
- Oversee staffing to meet or exceed sales expectations
- Act as a community liaison promoting integrity and company values
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Financial acumen with proven budget success
- 5-10 years of sales experience in retail
- 5+ years of multi-unit retail store management experience
- Ability to manage and enhance retail processes
- Proven track record in coaching and developing teams
