About the role
Join a system-wide Central Staffing Office as a Regional Float ED Registered Nurse (RN) and provide high-quality, patient-centered care across multiple hospitals in Missouri and Illinois. Key responsibilities include:
- Floating across 12 hospitals within the healthcare system, exclusively practicing in the Emergency Department (ED).
- Assessing, diagnosing, planning, and implementing patient care using evidence-based practices.
- Collaborating with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans.
- Promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while mentoring colleagues and fostering a positive work environment.
- Utilizing strong clinical judgment and adaptable skills to care for diverse patient conditions.
Qualifications and skills required:
- Minimum of 2+ years ED RN experience; trauma and float experience preferred.
- Current RN license in Missouri, ability to obtain Illinois RN license.
- Strong adaptability, excellent communication, and leadership skills.
- Education: ADN, BSN, or MSN; TNCC certification is preferred.
- Willingness to travel between facilities and participate in initial full-time training.
