About the role
Role Overview Join a central staffing team as a Regional Float ED Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered emergency care across multiple hospitals. This position involves floating between 12 hospitals in Missouri and Illinois, exclusively within the Emergency Department (ED).
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, and intervention based on nursing standards.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Mentor and serve as a role model for colleagues, fostering a positive work environment.
- Participate in professional development and system-wide initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 2+ years ED RN experience, with trauma and float experience preferred.
- Current Missouri RN license, ability to obtain Illinois RN license.
- Strong adaptability, communication, and leadership skills.
- Education: ADN, BSN, or MSN; TNCC certification preferred.
- Willingness to travel between facilities and work night shifts.
