Regional Director

About This Role

Leading a portfolio of multifamily communities in Michigan is the core of this Regional Director role, focusing on driving revenue growth, managing expenses, and ensuring high customer service. The position involves providing guidance and leadership to onsite Community Managers, ensuring compliance with company values and operating procedures, and fostering a positive living experience for residents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits to assess operations, risk management, and maintenance of properties within the region
• Oversee and execute the annual budgeting process, ensuring financials align with company expectations and market conditions
• Lead and mentor Community Managers and Area Managers, supporting their development and fostering a customer-centric culture
• Analyze community performance metrics, develop action plans, and implement strategies to drive occupancy and revenue growth
• Collaborate with construction and marketing teams on lease-up communities to generate leads and ensure timely, high-quality product delivery

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in community management, with prior experience in a regional leadership role
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in property management or a related field
• Strong financial acumen, with proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and revenue management
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate remote teams
• Proficiency in property management software platforms such as Real Page, MRI, and Power BI for data analysis and reporting
