Refurbishment Manager - Apartment Construction

About the Role

• Manage small or less complex facility design, construction, and maintenance projects
• Oversee project planning, scope, design, execution, and delivery
• Coordinate internal staff, contractors, and subcontractors
• Track milestones, budgets, and performance indicators
• Prepare and deliver progress reports to management
• Select, negotiate with, and manage external consultants/vendors

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 0–2 years of related experience
• Project Management certifications may be required
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to build effective working relationships
• Research and information-gathering skills
• Project scheduling and project management skills

• Coordinate capital improvement project activities
• Ensure timely and satisfactory project delivery
• Support design and maintenance teams
• Handle basic issues independently; escalate complex issues as needed
• Maintain documentation and project records
