Recruitment Manager

About This Role

Leading the attraction and talent strategy for Specialist Passenger Solutions (SPS), this role is crucial in attracting and retaining top talent. The Recruitment Manager will own the end-to-end colleague journey, from building employer profiles to selection, onboarding, and retention, ensuring a strong, skilled, and engaged team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the recruitment team, attracting exceptional people who bring the right skills, values, and personality to the organisation
• Shape and deliver the recruitment strategy, working closely with the People Director and Head of People to ensure talent needs are met
• Own the recruitment pipeline, partnering with Operations to anticipate workforce needs and maintain the right level of talent and capability
• Plan for the future, working with the People Director and Head of People on the end-of-project strategy, including effective communication, re-skilling, and supporting colleagues through change
• Act as an ambassador in the community, building the company's profile as an employer that attracts, develops, and values great people
• Think differently about attraction, working with Communications to create fresh, engaging, and inventive campaigns
• Provide insight and challenge on talent, workforce planning, and recruitment trends to support informed decision-making
• Use recruitment data and insight to identify opportunities, measure impact, and continually improve the approach to attracting and retaining talent
• Ensure full compliance across all recruitment requirements, including Right to Work, DVLA checks, safety-critical medicals, background checks, and relevant legislation and company policies

Requirements

• Experience in managing/leading a Recruitment team
• 3+ years of experience in the recruitment industry
• Solid understanding of an applicant tracking system (ATS)
• Good understanding of IT, including MS Office packages
• Experience of managing and delivering an in-house recruitment experience
• CIPD Level 3 as a minimum
• Experienced in high volume recruitment
• Driving Licence
