Position Summary
Kodiak Labor Solutions is seeking a
Construction Sourcer
to support our growing West Division by identifying and engaging top construction professionals for direct hire opportunities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the hunt, thrives on building talent pipelines, and takes pride in finding high-quality candidates before anyone else.
Working alongside recruiters and leadership, you'll be responsible for sourcing skilled professionals across commercial, industrial, mission-critical, and data center construction projects. Your focus will be building relationships, generating qualified candidate pipelines, and keeping our recruiting teams ahead of client demand.
Key Responsibilities
- Source passive and active candidates for direct hire construction positions
- Build talent pipelines for Project Managers, Superintendents, Engineers, BIM/VDC professionals, Estimators, and other construction leadership roles
- Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, networking, and creative sourcing strategies
- Conduct initial outreach and candidate engagement
- Screen resumes and conduct preliminary candidate qualifications
- Maintain accurate candidate records within the ATS
- Partner closely with recruiters to prioritize searches and fill critical openings
- Continuously develop talent communities across the Western U.S.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of sourcing or recruiting experience
- Construction, skilled trades, engineering, or industrial recruiting experience preferred
- Strong LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously
- Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely
- Must reside in Colorado or Utah
