Recruiting Coordinator

About This Role

This contract-to-hire position is for a Recruiting Coordinator who will help keep hiring at Coder organized and welcoming. The role involves ensuring smooth scheduling, supporting the Recruiting Team, and making sure candidates have a great experience throughout the interview process. You will also help identify improvements to enhance the overall hiring experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate virtual and in-person interviews across teams and time zones, ensuring a smooth experience for everyone involved
• Thoroughly document interview processes, interviewer roles, and other relevant details to help better prepare candidates and interviewers
• Proactively identify opportunities to streamline coordination and improve the candidate and hiring team experience
• Generally support day-to-day recruiting operations

Requirements

• 1+ year(s) of experience in recruiting coordination, talent acquisition, HR, administrative support, or another similar role
• Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle competing priorities
• Clear and friendly communication, both written and verbal
• A candidate-first mindset and genuine interest in creating a positive experience for everyone involved in hiring
• Experience using AI, an Applicant Tracking System (Ashby, Greenhouse, etc.), and standard web-based tools (Google Workspace or similar)

Nice to have:

• Experience using Ashby ATS
• Prior experience at a quickly scaling technical startup
• Interest in growing professionally into a full-cycle Recruiter

Important Details

• Work format: able to join in the Austin office occasionally

• The interview process is expected to take two to four weeks, if schedules allow
• You will meet a mix of individual contributors, managers, and senior leaders
• AI use during conversational interviews is not permitted
• AI tooling for take-home assessments is permitted; please flag where and to what extent it was used in your take-home
