Recruiter, Communications

About This Role

Recruiting for the Communications team is the core of this role, which involves telling Anthropic's story across corporate, product, executive, and internal communications. You will be the team's primary recruiter, owning searches from intake through offer, and advising leaders on talent acquisition. The role suits a recruiter who can find and engage passive candidates, with potential to support hiring for Brand and Marketing as the team grows.

Responsibilities

• Have a passion for AI's potential to positively impact the world, and a realistic view of its risks and limitations
• Have recruited for communications, PR or adjacent roles, and understand what great looks like in that craft
• Know how to find and engage candidates who are passive through a variety of creative channels
• Build trust with senior leaders, and have the confidence to push back with data
• Write clearly and pay close attention to detail, because candidates and comms leaders will notice both
• Run a tight, high-touch process that respects candidates' time and helps hiring managers decide quickly
• Turn hiring data into clear recommendations, not just status updates
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle executive and confidential searches with discretion

Requirements

• Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
• Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
• Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position

Nice to have:

• 10+ years of full-lifecycle recruiting experience, with a track record of closing senior, hard-to-fill roles
• Experience hiring for a high-growth technology company whose public narrative matters
• A network across media, agency, and in-house communications talent
• Experience supporting executive hiring
• Experience using AI tools in your daily work, and are curious about where they can take recruiting next

Important Details

• Work format: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
