Records Clerk

About This Role

This role is for a dependable and detail-oriented Scanning Clerk to join a fast-paced administrative team. It is a temp-to-hire opportunity for someone who enjoys organized, process-driven work and is comfortable handling a high volume of documents while maintaining a strong level of accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, and process approximately 1,200 pieces of incoming mail and documentation per week
• Organize physical and electronic documents for efficient processing
• Scan and upload documents into internal systems
• Review scanned documents to ensure information is clear, complete, and properly categorized
• Route documentation to the appropriate internal teams
• File and maintain documents according to established procedures
• Maintain accuracy and efficiency while working through a high-volume workload
• Follow established document-handling, scanning, filing, and recordkeeping procedures
• Collaborate with team members to ensure documents are processed accurately and on time

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Comfortable performing repetitive, high-volume scanning and document-processing tasks
• Ability to work independently and meet daily productivity expectations
• Ability to work 100% onsite Monday through Friday

Nice to have:

• Previous experience with scanning, filing, mail processing, data entry, document management, records management, or administrative support
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat
