About This Role
This role involves participating in back office and middle office operational processes within the financial sector in an international environment. It suits a Reconciliation Analyst with knowledge of financial products and banking operations, who will collaborate on reconciliation, analysis, and investigation of financial transactions.
Responsibilities
- Perform reconciliations of financial transactions, identifying and analyzing possible differences or discrepancies
- Investigate and follow up on incidents detected during reconciliation processes
- Analyze operations related to fixed income, dividends, coupons, amortizations, FX, and derivatives
- Participate in Asset Servicing operational processes
- Interpret and manage SWIFT messages (MT950, MT940, MT54X, among others)
- Collaborate in Back Office and Middle Office operational activities
- Prepare reports and monitor operations using Excel and Microsoft Office 365 tools
- Coordinate with local and international teams for incident resolution and process improvement
Requirements
- Functional knowledge of banking operations and financial markets
- Knowledge of financial products: fixed income, dividends, coupons, amortizations, FX, and derivatives
- Familiarity with financial reconciliation and Asset Servicing processes
- Knowledge and interpretation of SWIFT messaging (MT950, MT940, MT54X)
- Understanding of the Back Office and Middle Office operational cycle
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, Power BI)
- Analytical, research, and incident resolution skills
- Spanish and English for working in an international professional environment
- Ability to work in a team and coordinate with different areas
