Position Overview The Receiving Specialist plays a key role in managing income delivery of supplies, testing samples, and other essential products related to our resistivity testing experience. This role works closely with operational leadership and our field-based technicians to ensure cost-effective procurement, timely delivery and accurate inventory management.

Responsibilities Primary responsibilities for this role include:

  • Receive, Inspect, and store shipments of products.
  • Accurately record receiving data to align with associated purchase orders.
  • Prepare and organized received stock/deliveries for inventory.
  • Report damages or inventory shortage to operational leadership & take corrective action as needed.
  • Maintain quality standards on all work; ensure safety requirements and processes are followed at all times regarding receipt and storage of inventory.
  • Effectively communicate with Lab Manager regarding inventory levels.

Qualifications

  • 0–2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, administrative support, finance, or business operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze information and solve routine problems.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn procurement systems, policies, and best practices.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs regularly

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior warehouse, receiving, or shipping experience is a plus but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when processing purchase orders, invoices, and procurement documentation.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build positive relationships with internal

Travel Requirements This position does not require regular travel as part of its primary responsibilities.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Comfortable with manual labor, including lifting, standing, and moving product for extended periods
  • Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout a shift
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse/receiving environment
