Real Estate Paralegal (Deeds & Title Matters)
A growing law firm is seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to support residential real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with deed preparation, title review, document recording, and transaction management from contract through closing.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, draft, and review deeds and related transfer documents.
- Review title reports and assist in resolving title issues.
- Prepare supporting affidavits and closing documentation.
- Coordinate execution, recording, and filing of real estate documents.
- Maintain transaction files and monitor deadlines.
- Support attorneys throughout the transaction and closing process.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of residential real estate paralegal experience.
- Experience drafting and recording deeds.
- Knowledge of residential real estate transactions and title matters.
- Familiarity with recording requirements and transfer tax filings.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple files in a deadline-driven environment.
- Paralegal certificate preferred.
Compensation
Salary: $55,000 - $60,000 based on experience.
