Advert Code: MLFS 244 An exceptional opportunity is available for a talented Real Estate Associate Attorney to join a nationally recognised law firm with a market-leading real estate practice. This role is ideal for an attorney looking to work on sophisticated, high-value transactions while collaborating with experienced practitioners on some of the industry’s most complex and rewarding matters.

This position offers exposure to a broad range of commercial real estate work across multiple asset classes, providing an outstanding platform for continued professional growth and long-term career advancement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on complex commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions.
  • Represent lenders and borrowers in construction and permanent financing transactions.
  • Draft and negotiate joint venture agreements and related transaction documents.
  • Handle portfolio transactions involving a variety of commercial real estate assets.
  • Advise on REITs, real estate funds, and equity investment structures.
  • Assist with entity formation, transaction structuring, and investment strategies.
  • Work across a diverse range of asset classes, including residential, industrial, office, retail, hospitality, and land developments.
  • Collaborate closely with partners and clients to deliver practical, commercial legal solutions.

What We’re Looking For

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Previous experience working in a law firm is essential.
  • Between 3–6 years of commercial real estate transactional experience.
  • Strong experience with acquisitions, dispositions, financings, joint ventures, and commercial real estate transactions.
  • Experience with portfolio transactions, real estate investment vehicles, and complex ownership structures is highly desirable.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding academic credentials.
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple sophisticated matters and develop strong client relationships.
